On February 18, 2016, I went out into the East New York community to distribute children's learning (edutab Smart Phone Toy) devices and flyers advertising our youth initiative. As an addition, we distributed Pirate Booty chips as a nutritional treat for any individual that would want. I know it may not be much but, it was given as a simple form of gratitude and in conjunction with our nutritional health initiative. The eduTab Smart Phone Toy, "features lots of fun and educational activities in English or Spanish to help kids count, learn math, recognize animals, learn animal sounds, play music, enjoy interactive games and more. Includes 3 button cell batteries. Plastic. Approx. 2 1/2"L x 1/2"W x 5"H. Great for kids 3 yrs. & up." The idea is to enable a child to learn while on the go and enjoy it! The child doesn't always have to resort to parents smart/cell phones or tablets for entertainment. Levite Alms' desire is to incite the pursuit of knowledge within all youths. We all can support just one child without spending much. All we have to do is try!
